With our x-member of our team there representing Caritas, Sr. Brighet, now it was a golden opportunity. We explained what we are doing and they explained what they are doing. In the end we can work together in these areas: Share a truck to get things in such as our 20 cartons of hygiene kits
They have six mobile clinics that go to different areas and ask the sick for only 3 shekels for treatment. Our poor if they live in these areas can go to these clinics. They have no money to pay for transportation to clinics far away. We can help pay for medications which are not available for the sick.
Sr. Bridget ask Sabah if she could identify some areas which have no local health services as they want to expand their mobile clinics to areas not served. Sr. Bridget has visited families with Sabah and hope to do so again, each time to a different area. Her first month there she is just observing.
Added are some pictures of Shegyia which is still a disaster area months after the war.
