Gaza visit April 16, 2010

Nicole a student at the PBI where Don lives, Don, Jean, and I made this trip. We brought some needed materials for a deaf center in the north with us. We visited the schools to see the meals offered and so we went to two that of Marazey and Musaddar. We had helped them get cutlery and plates. Some new tables had been given both schools by Islamic Relief.

The children ate outside at each school. In the both Schools we saw the new rooms added on the second floor and the projects running here. It was very impressive as these schools have become real centers for change in their rural areas. Following we visited Mona's house and saw the interior which is large and comfortable for the family. Later it will be furnished, hopefully.
We finished by a report on the families helped medically and chose which families we would help next month. Eye surgeries were done, one man blind from birth can now see from both eyes. Another man with displaced discs in his back received medicine for the pain. We finished the day with a delicious meal at Sabah's home.
