October, a visit of two days, touched by the realities found there

Roberto and Sabah visited three schools and two homes of the sick. The schools found the children hard at their studies. When visiting the sick one lady, a widow, especially touched them as she has no family and is ill with no resources. We will be helping her with much needed medications. Her pictures will be added here.

Br. Joe and I arrived the second day and we began with visit to the parish priest which was very enlightening. He told of the problems of working with the Hamas government regarding his private co-ed. schools. Hamas wants segregated schools with the boys and girls in different schools. The young boys must now have half the time for sports used for military formation of self-defense. Please join your prayers with ours for this serious situation.

We are having a poster made for our schools and office so we worked on until we had to leave for the border. We left grateful for these full and fruitful two days. We found that we had much to ponder and to pray for thereafter.
